As you can see if you look at the close-up, the arm is extending pretty convincingly. At this stage we were still trying to tighten up the protocol, and allowed notes giving various impressions, many way off the mark. But the point of the exercise is the arm is distinguishable. A partial hit, but a hit nonetheless.
